Zak’s Home Hardware pioneered the FIRST Paper Poppy campaign in Canada for the Remembrance Day season in 2023! Each year our customers are empowered to make a donation by either coin or till transaction, and receive a Paper Poppy to personalize in the store, with the traditional lapel poppy to take home. ​Each Paper Poppy represents a story, a sacrifice, and a legacy that deserves recognition and is beautifully displayed in-store. ​

​​This initiative is sanctioned by the Deputy Director of the Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command in Ottawa, ON.  All proceeds benefit our local Nutana Royal Canadian Legion Branch 362 or Duck Lake Royal Canadian Legion Branch 249.
