Our dream house started on a piece of loose leaf paper. It was a mess of partially erased lines and scribbles that were hardly to scale. We decided we wanted to do an RTM and had visited all the local builders to walk through their homes on site. We took the drive out to Hague and walked through 3 homes before we knew for sure that was who would be building our home. They took that piece of loose leaf and made it into a solid draft within a week. Bryant was absolutely amazing to deal with. He helped make the process as smooth as possible. Zaks does quality work with exceptional attention to detail. Bryant had excellent communication on the build during the process to keep us well informed. We could go visit our home anytime during their work hours and find the job site immaculate! Zaks service team has been amazing. Dave exemplified superior customer service when coming to do follow up work after the move. I would highly recommend Zaks home builders!

The design process was really exciting. There were quite few decisions to make but the Simple Home concept and the sales team made it easy. The design of the floor plan was fun and Angela was very patient and competent in getting our design "just right". After living with the home for 2 years, there is virtually nothing that we would change as a result of the care and attention put into design.  We love it! It was really fun visiting the home onsite and seeing it come to life. We love the finishings and colors (ex. flooring, ceiling, cupboards, counter tops). The comprehensive approach was really helpful - from design to build to sitework.

Alright, real talk and deep appreciation coming at ya. We are so grateful for @zaksbuilding for building our dream shop in 2 days. Don’t be fooled by their fast work, every single step of the process was seamless and no detail was missed.

The Decision

Our friends and neighbours had recently built what we call the “mansion” and they couldn’t say enough about Zak’s. We got a tour of their big build and we were sold! We inquired in May and were surprised the cost was less than we thought! We got our estimated build date and then two days in October… while we were at work, our whole property changed. Now everything is out of the elements, organized and covered by security. It’s so nice having the space indoors for our lifestyle. Everyone at Zak’s was great to deal with and they always went the extra mile… then- a kick ass Christmas present arrives, hand delivered in December! Thanks for the heated, Bluetooth chair and flashlight (this 🔦 thing is so good we joke we can see deer skeletons when we use it at night to chase wildlife away from the horse feed).
