An arena is the heart of a community, where everyone gathers for many events.
This arena was built after a fire destroyed the original one in the community. Made of pre-engineered steel, this structure should stand for generations to come. Engineered screw piles and concrete-grade beams are used for solid structural columns and beams. A vestibule entrance to the large front building lobby keeps out the cold in winter.
The durable exterior metal cladding is painted in the local hockey team’s colours. To accommodate dressing rooms, a small lean-to building is attached to the main structure along the length of the hockey rink.
