At Zak’s we strive to exceed code requirements and as code increases its energy efficiency requirements, we’ve forged ahead to meet 2030 Net Zero requirements. When this RTM is placed on the appropriate foundation and mechanical equipment added we can have a building that with solar panels will produce just as much energy as it uses.
When we designed this unit we looked to exceed current Energy code requirements – building a home that could qualify us as a Net Zero builder with the Cdn Home Builders Association. Completing this project with the right site specifications would finalize our Net Zero Builder qualification.
Utilizing higher levels of insulation and triple pane windows this unit is designed to exceed current Energy Code requirements.
